The title of this post says it all :-) After nearly 7 years of marriage, Doug and I are elated and thrilled to announce that we are expecting a baby this November!!! I’ve been itching to share the news with all of you and now I finally can! There is soooo much I want to share with you all but I’ll keep this post short & sweet for now…just like the little baby growing inside my ever expanding belly :-) Thanks to all of you who continue to read my blog…I know it’s been a little quiet over here but as you can tell I’ve been kinda busy with some important life stuff :-) Stay tuned though because there is lots more fun stuff to come!

Yay! First wedding of the year! I have been sooooo excited to start the new wedding season and what better way to jump right in then with Teela & Jarrad’s wedding! I KNEW their wedding was going to be ultra fantastic because one of my FAV wedding planners was on board to make the day FAB! Who is it you ask? None other than Kristeen Labrot…who just so happens to be one of my past brides from 2008! I am so PROUD to see what Kristeen has accomplished in her career in the last few years and I can only imagine what the future holds!! Thanks AGAIN Kristeen for sending Teela & Jarrad my way!

Now for the wedding day goodies! The day started off with a beautiful, gorgeous day at the Bel Air Bay Club in Pacific Palisades. My first experience with the Bel Air Bay Club was over a year ago when I attended a bridal show there and I thought the venue was just gorgeous! So you can imagine how excited I was when I knew that I would be getting to shoot Teela & Jarrad’s wedding there! As you will see below, everything from their wedding turned out GORGEOUS! They had a sweet ceremony with their little boy Jarrad Jr. as the ring bearer (heart melt) and he continued with his duties into the evening as “dancing machine” at the reception. I loved seeing the big smiles on Teela & Jarrad’s faces throughout the day & night…they had their closest family & friends there to celebrate and boy did this group know how to party! The music was AWESOME…I even wanted to get on the dance floor! It was the perfect day really and I’m soooo happy I got to be a part of it!

Teela & Jarrad…thank you SOOO very much for putting your trust in me to capture this beautiful day for you! I hope you love & cherish these memories from your wedding day for many years to come!

Christian Louboutin‘s and diamonds…my two favorite things!!

This is one of my most favorite “shoe” shots ever! The room Teela was getting ready in was very traditional but I knew I would need a perfect “modern” backdrop for her sexy/edgy heels. Once I saw this metal suitcase, I knew it would be perfect!

Ummm, hello? Is Teela drop dead GORGEOUS or what?!

Awwwww…Jarrad was so sweet during their first look! Jarrad is quite shy but the look on his face says it all :-)

Seriously?! Sooo beautiful! I loved the hairstyle that Teela chose for her wedding day…sexy and elegant!

Larrissa, my FAVORITE floral/event designer ever did a fantastic job on all the florals!!!

OMG…how cute is this?!! Jarrad Junior is the perfect combo of his mom & dad…I can’t get over the hair…precious!!

Teela & Jarrad’s wedding colors were a mix of teal, purple, pink, fuschia, red…I loved it all!

The ballroom at the Bel Air Bay Club was the perfect backdrop!

LOL..my favorite moment of the night! Jarrad’s groomsmen was reminiscing of their college years at UCLA. In the image below he was demonstrating how Jarrad danced back in the day…looks to me like Jarrad was a “booty shaker”!
