Yesterday, I headed to my parents house for my step Dad’s 60th birthday (Happy Birthday Dad!!!). I was very excited..not only was it his birthday and I was going to get some yummy birthday cake, I had some very exciting news to share with them! I took out my copy of Orange County Bride from my purse and opened up to the page. My dad couldn’t see the words I was pointing at until he held the magazine very far away…only then did he see my name. “Wow!” he said, “Congratulation….you PROFESSIONAL now! They only put professional people in magazine!” LOL…so all these years he DIDN’T think of me as a professional??? I can’t tell you how excited I was to see Amy and Frank’s wedding featured in Orange County Bride!!! It’s the first wedding I’ve ever had published and I HAVE to thank Heathery Howery of Strawberry Farms helping me submit their wedding to the magazine..and OF COURSE I have to thank Amy and Frank for having such a fabulous wedding and being totally adorable as well :-)

Also, I have to thank Danielle from Southern Weddings for featuring Heather and Antonio’s wedding details today! You can check it out here: Heather and Antonio

It had been almost a year since I had seen Sharon and Rudy when they first booked me so I was excited to see them again for their engagement session! It was a beautiful sunny day and we had a great time taking in the nature surrounding us. Sharon is one of the coolest brides ever…why you ask??? Well, she practically comments on almost every one of my blog posts and always makes me feel good with her sweet words…what more could a girl ask for? Rudy was determined to smile with no teeth that day so what did I do? I tackled him to the ground and started tickling him but still, he did not smile. JUST KIDDING!!! However, I vowed to Sharon that’s what I would do if I didn’t see some pearly whites on their wedding day ;-) Here are some favorites from their shoot..enjoy!
