Eunice & Bryan are two of the sweetest people..loving, funny, and easygoing are just a few of their shared qualities! They had their wedding at the Center Club in Costa Mesa. It was an intimate gathering which is exactly what they wanted..to be surrounded by the people closest to them. They are both extremely close to their families and it was so special to see the love surrounding all of them that day!

Eunice & Bryan..you two were made for each other! Keep smiling and making each other laugh..that will be the glue that holds your marriage together!

I loved the lace edging around Eunice’s veil..

The light coming in from the window was gorgeous!

Eunice & Bryan wanted to do a first look so that they would have ample time for pictures..that’s always a plus!

Adorable!

Eunice looks guite breathtaking here :-)

Eddie from Commerce Flowers did an excellent job with all the floral details!

How cute are these two little rascals?

Love this one of Bryan..so happy!

Love this image of Eunice hugging her mom..there were tears all around!

So cute! In the Korean tradition, members of the family give some words of wisdom and then throw fruit/dates into a cloth..however many Eunice & Bryan catch will determine their number of children :-) They are having lots of children!

Then the groom carries the bride by piggy back..not sure what this signifies but it’s totally adorable :-)

I adored this sweet cake from the fabulous My Sweet & Saucy!

Their guests took the “dance contest” very seriously..look at Eunice’s sister shake it like a Polaroid picture!

Something very unique happened on Stephanie & Ed’s Wedding Day..something that has never happened before. It was the first time EVER that I truly regretted not doing a first look for my own wedding. Many of my couples do first looks and those that do, are very happy about it! First and foremost, it gives them that one on one quality time together before the ceremony to just take each other in and an enjoy the calm before the “storm” i.e. Ceremony. The Ceremony for some reason always stresses everyone out. Once the Ceremony is over, there is almost a “release” and everyone feels free and can enjoy themselves..it happens at every single wedding I shoot.

Secondly, first looks are great because you get to talk to each other after seeing each other for the first time. I remember walking down the aisle, seeing Doug for the first time..and then seeing the 200 pairs of eyes staring at ME! Boy was the stressful…what I wanted to do most was look at Doug and only Doug…but I felt obligated to acknowledge everyone that was there..give them a look of “thanks so much for coming!” There was so much I wanted to say to Doug at that moment when I first locked eyes with him..and I’m sure he had a few words he wanted to say to me too. However, the Ceremony had to go on so we tried whispering to each other here and there..almost wishing the ceremony was just over already so we could be married and have fun!

This is where the regret starts…Stephanie and Edward’s first look started just like any other. Then, when Edward first saw her, he was so overcome with so much emotion that he started to cry..and he couldn’t stop. Stephanie consoled him and told him not to cry and they embraced for a while..taking it all in. I was so envious of this moment..wishing I had the same on my wedding day. How wonderful would it have been to see Doug for that first time, hug him, tell him how much I love him and how excited I was to be getting married to him! I can wholeheartedly say I would have enjoyed our Ceremony so much more and not been super freaked out right before it. So there you have it. Stephanie & Ed..I’m jealous of that beautiful, sweet moment you had together. You know what else? I’m also EXTREMELY grateful that I got to share it with the two of you…it makes me appreciate my job that much more. To even call what I do a “job” doesn’t seem fitting..it’s truly a blessing to get to witness first hand “true love” at its purest. Thank you so much for that!

Stephanie & Ed..thanks for being in love, sweet, and happy! You deserve it and so much more! Here’s to a life filled with tears..happy tears that is ;-)

Now for some favorites!

Steph looked gorgeous that day!!

and so did her bridesmaids! I love the contrast of the purple dresses and green and red flowers..

During their “first look”, Stephanie yelled “here comes your investment!” which made Ed laugh.

The laughter then turned into tears after he saw Stephanie for the first time…such a beautiful moment!

Stephanie looked radiant as she made her way towards the aisle.

I ADORE this picture..Ed and Steph’s dad both look sooo happy here!

City Hall had amazing “pockets” of light all around the grounds..just gorgeous!

One of my favorites!!
