Last week I headed down to La Jolla for Jennifer & Mike’s engagement session. I love shooting in San Diego since most of my sessions are in OC or LA. It was a nice drive down and gave me a chance to relax from this hectic wedding season. When I arrived in La Jolla, I immediately felt this sense of calm come over me..it was a beautiful sunny day with lots of people taking advantage of the last days of Summer. Jennifer & Mike were so sweet together..always smiling at each other ever time their eyes met..I love that :-)

They will be getting married early 2010 at the beautiful Ritz Carlton and I cannot wait..it will be the first time that I will get to work with both of my happa “sisters” at the same time, Kristin from The Treasured Petal and Angel from Events of Love & Splendor..be prepared for some awesomeness..that’s all I gotta say :-)

When I first met Adela, I knew she was the perfect client for me…why you ask? Because she loved NKOTB just as much as I do :-) Adela is just the sweetest, fun, most down-to-earth girl you’ll ever meet. I loved hearing about her courtship with Shane and how he proposed to her in Paris..OMG..what a way to get engaged right? I was so excited for their wedding after hearing all the great details and sure enough, their wedding day was amazing! They rented out the entire Hotel 741 so they had the whole place to themselves..how awesome is that? It’s a great boutique hotel in Laguna Beach and if you’re looking for an intimate venue for a gathering, wedding, etc, definitely check it out!

Shane and Adela, you guys are rockstars :-) So happy for the both of you and wishing you lots of happiness!!
