I have been looking forward to Kristin’s baby shower even since she told me she was having a baby! Kristin is one of my few friends who is a mommy so it is still a very new & exciting thing to me when someone announces they are pregnant. I knew it was going to be utterfly fab with our friend Angel who was helping plan the shower along with Kristin’s sister Jennylyn & friend Chie. However I was not prepared for just how wonderful it would be! Kristin mentioned to Angel wanting to keep everything simple but that is not in Angel’s vocabulary :-) As you will see, Angel & the girls created a shower that ANY girl would drool over. This is an open invitation to Angel, Jennylyn, and Chie to plan my shower when the time comes :-D

I must warn you that this post is HEAVY on details. Everyone spent so much time into making this day special I had to show off all their hard work! Whether you’re having a baby shower, bridal shower, or wedding I can assure you the images below will give you plenty of inspiration…enjoy!

Angel did such a fantastic job with the adorable signage and table display of vintage books and her collection of Ann Wood Handmade birds! Kristin’s home was the perfect setting for the beautiful seating provided by {found} rentals.

As guests arrived, they got to take a picture with the guest of honor, Kristin :-) You’ll see what they did with the picture below…

How simply adorable! Each guest got to write a little note to Siena with their picture attached to the little “flag” note card…so cute!

Their was a little vintage crib where guests could drop off their gifts…

More eye candy courtesy of Angel :-) Everybody thought Krissy did the floral arrangements since she was a florist but it was actually Angel who did them…she did a FANTASTIC job!

The food spread was amazing…Jennylyn has such a gift for food display..she should really consider working for Martha Stewart!

I still can’t get over how beautiful Kristin’s backyard looked with the beautiful foliage…I’m so jealous! I want her tree so badly!! The backyard made for the perfect backdrop for this gorgeous cake Melody (from Sweet and Saucy) made!

The vintage chairs were so perfect!

Check out the awesome dessert display! I never would have thought to use ironing boards for display…this is why I’m a photographer and not an event designer!

Of course you can’t have a baby shower without a baby present :-)

Gift opening time!

Guess who got this dress for Siena? :-) I think I have to steal it back from Kristin if I ever have a little girl…I wanted this dress for myself!

Angel being the dutiful gift-writer-downer :-) Does Angel not look absolutely fab in her outfit? She looks like this every time I see her, I kid you not.

Angel go the most adorable outfit…the pink little cardigan is nearly identical to the one Kristin wore for her maternity session with me last month!

After gifts it was the moment I had been waiting for ALL day…dessert time! Everything was soooo good!!!

After dessert time, it was craft time! Everyone got to make a personalized shirt, onesie, or bib…great idea courtesy of Kristin’s friend Chie! I made the little shirt with the two birdies :-)

Of course we had to get a picture of the “happa” trio :-)

I want to know how you made onesies craft station, where did you find the materials and if you had to iron them or how you did it...because I would love to have something like that in my shower. I hope everyone has wonderful holidays with their family & loved ones! To all my blog readers, thanks for sharing this year with me! It was a special year for me with the rebranding of my business, new blog, site, etc. It definitely felt like a rebirth to me and I can’t help but feel that 2011 will be beautiful & bright! I hope you all will enjoy the ride with me!

Of course, I have to post a picture of the two furry loves of my life..Mochi the “black nose reindeer” and Spunki the “brown nose reindeer” :-)

And some out takes…lol…I love the “watchu talkin’ about Willis” look on Spunki’s face :-)

Obviously Mochi did not like having the reindeer ears on his head :-) The movement in his hair is quite impressive…he could be a hair model for Pantene don’t you think?
