Strawberry Farms Wedding : April & Joe

It has been awhile since I shot a wedding on an overcast day and I just gotta say…I love it!  For some reason, the overcast weather just made the day a little more magical.  Of course there was enough magic just from being around April & Joe.  They have this “crazy in love” chemistry that is undeniable!  They have a love for life, family, and fun that you don’t get to see very often.  You could see from just looking around the room that everyone was happy and thankful to be there with April & Joe.  You see, Joe is a marine and had been in Afghanistan for many months last year and to have him home, happy & safe and getting married to the love of his life was all they could possibly hope for.

April & Joe, seeing the “spark” between you two brings a big smile to my face…if everyone in the world can experience the love that you two have, this world would be a much happier place :-)

I ADORE this image!  I love the grounds at Strawberry Farms…I felt like I was in the country somewhere!

The overcast light created a soft even light on them…I love it!

I loved all the details!!

The twinkle lights in the red barn at Strawberry Farms gives this image of the gorgeous cake an extra little “oomph”.

I LOVE this image of the bridal party waiting to make their grand entrance…

Did I mention Joe and his love of dipping? ;-)

When I first met with April, she asked if I could refer her to any good bands.  I jumped at the chance to recommend The Rembrandt Band…I saw them play at a wedding last year and was SO impressed.  To my delight, April hired them and I was impressed yet again at what a fantastic job they did of getting the party started!!!  If you’re looking for a band, I can’t recommend them enough!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this!  Pefect way to end the night :-)
