Welcome to my blog! I’m a photographer based in Orange County, California. Wedding photography is what I specialize in but I love capturing ALL the special moments life has to offer! This blog serves as my online journal where I’ll post pictures from my most recent photo shoots, share my favorite “YouTube” videos, post adorable pictures of my dogs (yes, I’m one of “those” people), and talk about anything else I feel like! Oh my goodness… I can’t believe this moment is finally here! I am so incredibly happy & proud to announce the official launch of my new brand & blog! (my new website will be launching some time next month but click here for my temporary site that Flosites customized with my new branding and updated image galleries!)

It has been a long journey with a lot of ups and downs but I can say wholeheartedly it has been worth it. There are a few people I have to thank for getting me to this point:
Leila Khalil from Be Inspired – In January of this year, I contacted Leila to consult with me about my business. I felt I had reached a turning point in my career and I wanted to take it to the next level. I told Leila my goals & dreams for my business and she told me what I needed to do to get there. She was very up front and honest with me which is something I really needed to take my business to the next level. Leila said something to me during our first meeting that has stuck with me to this day. She said “when somebody has a brand they are proud of they walk with confidence and their head held high”. That is exactly how I feel right now…I’ve never been more proud of myself or my brand. Consulting with Leila was key in taking my business to where I want to go. Thanks Leila for all of your advice, input, and support in the building of my new brand! Your expertise helped guide me in the direction I wanted to go and I can’t thank you enough!
Joanne Kophs – I cannot express just how happy & lucky I feel to have met Joanne. She is the designer who created my new logo & brand. As many of you know, rebranding your business is HARD! It’s even harder finding a designer that sees your vision and can make it come to life. Joanne wasn’t the first person I consulted with for my new look. There were a couple of missteps along the way but once I found Joanne, everything fell into place. I knew just by looking at her own brand that she and I would be a good fit. Not only is she creative, she is also upfront, honest and punctual (which I’m sure a lot of you know is extremely rare in the design world). If you’re looking for a graphic designer for any type of design work, I would recommend Joanne in a heartbeat! Thank you Joanne from the very bottom of my heart for helping me find ME.
Ross from Flosites – Okay…so if anyone else can appreciate how long of a road it’s been to finally get to this point, it’s Ross and his team at Flosites! I don’t even want to count how many emails we’ve exchanged back and forth…but trust me, it’s a lot! I’ve had the pleasure of working with Ross for quite a few years now. He and the Flosites team helped fix some glitches in my old blog & website that the previous designer had left behind. When it came time for me to get a new blog & website there was no question who I would contact. Flosites has built a reputation within the wedding industry for making awesome blogs & websites for many types of wedding professionals. I’m constantly blown away every time they launch a new blog because they are just so good at it. When Ross sent me the initial design for my blog, I was beyond ecstatic! I barely had any changes at all (also extremely rare in the design world). They have the ability to create unique & interesting designs and I am so excited to see what they create for my new custom site. Stay tuned for the custom site that Flosites is building for me. If everything goes as planned, I’ll be launching it next month!
Tracy Kumono – thanks to my awesome friend Tracy for shooting my new bio pictures! This is one area of the whole re-branding process that I was not looking forward to! I do NOT like getting my picture taken so I didn’t even want to take new pictures but I knew it had to be done. I think Tracy did such an awesome job and I love my new bio pictures! Thanks Tracy…you are the best!
My clients – Of course I have to thank my clients because without them, there would be no blog or website period. I started my journey a little over 4 years ago and have met some amazing clients along the way. It truly is such an honor when someone decides to hire ME to capture these moments in life that they’ll remember forever. It is a responsibility that I’ve never taken lightly and I’m so grateful to each and every one of my clients who have allowed me into their lives. Words will never be enough to describe how thankful I am!
My family & friends – thanks so much to my family & friends for always being there, giving me your honest opinions, and keeping it real when I needed to hear the truth. What can I say? You guys rock!
My Hubby – To my beautiful & sweet husband, who from the very beginning, would give me a little pep talk before each wedding (and still does actually) and tell me “don’t stress honey, you take beautiful pictures and you’re a professional”. I’ve “grown” up a lot since then and while I don’t need to hear those words that much now, I clung on to them for dear life my first year in business. As he sent me off to shoot a wedding, he promised me he would keep his phone close in case I needed anything…just thinking about that makes me want to cry. He has always been my rock and I feel so lucky to have him as my husband…and cheerleader :-) I love you so much my sweet pea!
