January 2011 edition : My favorite things!

What better way to start off my first post of 2011 than with something I love OH SO MUCH!!!  If you didn’t already know, I’m obsessed with Hollywood Regency Design.  It is by far my favorite “hobby” to peruse interior design blogs & online furniture sites to get me creative juices flowing.  However, as much joy it brings me to “online window shop” I will say it has created a problem…a huge “commitment” problem.  You see…the decorating of my home has hit a bit of a roadblock because I can’t commit…I keep changing my mind over and over and over again.  I had no problem at all committing to a husband…but furniture, decor, and accessories?  I’m a commitment phobe ALL THE WAY!  There are just way toooo many options out there and I just can’t decide.  As you’ll see below, there are just way too many wonderful options to choose from but I think I’m making some progress…stay tuned for that post :-)

For now, I thought I’d share some of my favorite online furniture retailers!  I’m hoping you’ll gain as much inspiration aka commitment issues that I have ;-)  Enjoy everyone and have a great week!

First up, Tonic Home! I discovered Tonic Home a couple years ago and I’m just obsessed with everything they have!  Check out this super amazing bed…I love it so much!  It’s the perfect mix of funky (the unique shaped headboard) and traditional (linen fabric & nail head trim).  What do you think?

This lucite chest is sooo awesome!  It would be perfect in my family room!

I’m obsessed with mirrors and this one is one of my all time favorites!

OMG…maybe this is my all time favorite???  I love anything black & white…

How awesome is this???  I would love to get that many mirrors for my living room above my couch…but then again I would have to win a small lottery to be able to afford buying this many!  Still trying to figure out a cheaper alternative…suggestions anyone?

Turquoise…a color I’m currently obsessed with!  I love the unique nail head trim this loveseat has at the bottom…I die!

OMG…I have a feeling you will be obsessed with this next store as much as I am, ShopTen25!! I discovered this GEM of store just a few months ago…where?  I’m not sure…probably during one of my thousands upon thousands of Google searches :-)  How AMAZING is this Greek Key Rug?  It would be ABSOLUTELY perfect in my living room.  If it came in 8×10, I would have already gotten it!  To the makers of this rug, please make them in bigger sizes!!!

I love light fixtures…I feel like they are the icing on the cake and can really pull a room together.  I love the reflective lamp shades on this chandelier…a little bit of funky is what I love!

Again…I’m obsessed with anything black and white!  This rug is an affordable option (compared to designer rugs) for anyone who likes the Hollywood Regency look.  Let me tell you, if you didn’t already know, designer area rugs are EXPENSIVE!!!

This cut-out mirror is so unique…I’ve never seen anything like it!

I want this side table like RIGHT NOW!!!  It is perfection in every way!

Next, Revival Home & Garden! The Greek Key design is a much used design element in the world of Hollywood Regency.  I love how it’s used here in this dining table, don’t you??

I love anything with a nail head trim!  How hot is this side table??

I want this yellow chair soooooo badly!!!  The unique shape & color makes this a winner in my book for sure!

I have died and gone to “black and white” heaven!!!  OMG…I love this soooooo soooooo sooooo much!  This is ALL me ALL day EVERY day!!!

Last but not least, Inside Avenue! They have an eclectic sampling of furniture…how about this awesome mirror?

Did I mention I like black & white??

This has got to be one of the best credenza’s I’ve ever seen…I love it!

Yellow & quirky…two of my favorite characteristics in any piece of furniture!
