Maternity Pictures : Humie & Pete

I’ve known Humie for over a decade now…she is my BFF’s older sister and it’s so amazing to see how much we’ve both grown during these 10 years!  It was so awesome to know that we would be pregnant at the same time and give birth so close together.  However, baby Sebastian had other plans :-)  Normally I’m able to blog my maternity session before mommy gives birth but little Sebastian decided that he couldn’t wait any longer to meet his mom & dad!  I shot Humie’s maternity session 2 weeks ago and baby decided to make an appearance the very next week!  Talk about good timing :-)  Little Sebastian is about 6 weeks early but he is doing extremely well as is Mommy Humie :-)  Humie was actually supposed to attend my baby shower but went into the labor the night before!  As sad as I was to not have her there I was extremely happy to hear that everything went well with her delivery :-)

I can’t wait to meet the little guy!  I’ve gotten to see a picture of Humie holding Sebastian on Daddy’s Facebook and it was just the sweetest thing…it’s amazing to see someone you’ve known for many years to blossom into motherhood right before your very eyes!  You can see in the images below that Humie is just glowing…with baby inside her belly that is :-)  She is even more radiant with him on the other side of her tummy!

Does this couch look familiar?  Humie really wanted some indoor shots for her maternity session so I offered up my living room since her house is currently filled with boxes, etc since they just bought their home not too long ago!

Maternity Session : Jolene & Gerric

I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Jolene & Gerric for several years now and got the chance to photograph them for their 5 Year Wedding Anniversary not too long ago.  They are such a sweet & loving couple and I couldn’t be more happier for them now that they are expecting their first child, a baby girl!  Jolene is due just 4 days after me and will be delivering at the same hospital as me as well!  How fun would that be if we went into labor at the same time?!

Jolene & Gerric…thanks again for always being so sweet and fun!  I had so much fun with you guys (especially with all the location hiccups we had that day…lol!!!)  and cannot wait to meet your baby girl!!
