I absolutely LLLLLOOOOVVVEEEE doing newborn sessions.  It scratches that “newborn” itch I get every once in awhile when I get sad that my little Evie isn’t teeny tiny anymore :-(  I especially love it when the newborn sessions is for one of my friends!  I’ve known Melissa for a couple of years now and have always loved working with her.  She is the other half of the fabulous ME Events & Design team.  It was so surreal to see Melissa as a mommy now considering the last time I saw her I was pregnant with Evie!  Her little Blake is just the cutest and is the spitting image of his daddy.  Might I add he has the coolest baby hair I think I’ve ever seen!

Melissa & Sam…thanks so much for inviting me into your home and allowing me to capture this special moment in your lives!  Hope you enjoy these teasers!

Cutie Pie!

OMG…I can’t handle it!

Yyyyyaaawwwwnnnnn

Their beautiful little family :-)

Doesn’t Melissa look amazing after giving birth just 11 days ago?!

What did I tell you…twins!!!

Blake did not like his monkey suit whatsoever…it took a miracle (or lots of cuddling from his mommy) to finally get this shot :-)

kristin @ petal and thorn: Ohh my goodness, the yawn! such a cutie. August 30, 2013 7:27 am

Within minutes of meeting Pey & Scott I knew I liked them :-)  They met online like Doug and I did and Pey and I bonded over just how similar our families were.  They’ve been together for many years and I am SO glad they are finally getting married!!  (I know they are too!)

Pey went to Claremont College which is where she chose to do the session.  I loved hearing her college stories and getting to see the halls she once walked.  It has been so great getting to know both Pey and Scott and I hope to continue getting to know them even more after their wedding is over!

Here are just a few of my favorites from our session…enjoy!

Pey is such a natural beauty!

Love this one!

I love how the sun is shining through the leaves…

Pey and Scott have an appreciation for classic architecture :-)

I loved Pey’s second outfit…so “Fall”sy :-)

They’re cute aren’t they?!

Love this one!
