Hey Ya’ll…I’m back from Texas!!! I have to say..while I had an GREAT time shooting Natalie and Hoan’s wedding, I am so happy to be back in Cali! I couldn’t believe how hot and humid it was over there considering it’s only March! I am now more than happy to pay for the high cost of living in CA..mild weather is soooo very worth it ;-)

Right before I left for Texas, I shot a totally fun engagement shoot with June and Singer! They will be getting married on 08-08-08 at the beautiful Turnip Rose and I can’t wait! These two are such a fun loving couple and so sweet! I must say that Singer and I developed a deep bond after a very profound conversation about one of our favorite movies “Zoolander“. LOL..okay..so I’m being waaayyyy overly dramatic :-) I was pleasantly surprised when Singer asked if he could do the “Zoolander” face…afterall, Zoolander is my favorite comedy ever!!! So obviously, Singer earned extra brownie points for loving Zoolander just as much as I do :-) Ben Stiller, if somehow you happen to come across this post, Singer and I are BEGGING you to come out with a sequel to Zoolander already!!!

Smita and Issac are getting married in just a couple of months and I cannot wait! They will be getting married at the fabulous [seven-degrees] and have a beautiful Hindu ceremony planned with beautiful vibrant colors…what more could a girl ask for? ;-)

Smita and Isaac are ANOTHER one of my couple’s who met online…I swear I think I have a magnet built inside of me that attracts other couples who have met online :-) As you can see, they make an adorable couple :-) Isaac was so cute..in the beginning of their session, before I even snapped any pictures, I told them that it was okay if they felt dorky and Isaac immediately said “Okay good, ‘cuz I feel really dorky right now.” LOL…as you can see though, his feelings of dorkiness did not show up in the pictures at all :-) They were GREAT in front of the camera and very natural once the dorky feeling subsided…which is one of the reasons why the engagement session is so important! You’re able to get all those “dorky” feelings out before the wedding day so that you’re not feeling awkward/dorky on one of the most important days of your lives!
