Welcome to my blog! My name is Trista Lerit and I am a wedding photographer based in Orange County, California. Beautiful, Modern, and Edgy Wedding Photography is what I specialize in but every now and then, I love capturing little rascals a.k.a. kids!

This blog is where I'll post pictures from weddings, engagements, and little rascal sessions that I've shot recently. However, I won't limit my posts to photography related things only! This blog also doubles as my online diary where I'll discuss my love of food, share my favorite YouTube videos, post adorable pictures of my dogs (yes, I'm one of THOSE people), and talk about anything else I feel like!

You know it's almost Christmas when you start seeing little one's on my blog again :-)  Now that wedding season has winded down, I have time for other fun stuff like hanging out with Rascals!  This was my third time hanging out with these adorable little girls and it gets better everytime!  The twins have a newfound love for the Wizard of Oz and sang "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" for me..it was adorable!

And little Olivia...she is growing like a weed (as are the twins) and has some teeth to show for it!  She is a sweet little girl and such a happy baby!

My last wedding of the year!  Boy, it's been a wonderful year for me and I couldn't have asked for a better way to end it than with Vivian and Ben's wedding!  What I love about them is that they are always happy-go-lucky...Vivian always has a big beautiful smile on her face which just brightens up the entire room!  Nothing makes me happier than to see my couples happy and glowing on their wedding day...just as it should be :-)

They got married at the beautiful Verandas in Manhattan Beach.  Vivian and Ben's family travelled from all over and you could tell that everyone was so incredibly happy to be there to witness this beautiful occasion.

Vivian and Ben...have an AMAZING time in Brazil..I'm sooooo jealous!

I loved her Pronovias gown.  If you're looking for a drop-dead beautiful gown, definitely look into Pronovias!  Some of my favorite gowns are from this line.

Hey everyone!  Seems like forever since I last blogged!  Doug and I are FINALLY in our new home.  We "officially" moved on Saturday even though I shot a wedding that day!  Thanks to Doug and our lovely movers for doing all the heavy lifting :-)

However, on Sunday Doug and I had to go back to our apartment to finish the last of our packing and to clean...we did not get home until 1:30am and didn't go to bed until an hour later!!! Needless to say, we are both tired...boxes are everywhere, I have no idea where anything is and I don't have the energy to try to find anything :-)  However, the most important things are set up and in their place..the TV and my computer! :-)  I was itching to blog alll day but we didn't get our internet working until just an hour ago!  So, as soon as Doug gave me the "okay", I started working on my very first blog from our new home...yay!

I shot Kristeen and Josh's wedding last weekend and had the best time!  Kristeen and Josh are just super cool people and are just as sweet to me as can be :-)  I was sooo looking forward to their wedding because it was going to be at the totally awseome Marvimon in L.A.  It's a very cool venue and I highly recommend taking a trip there if you're still looking for a venue!  Aside from the very cool venue, I got to work with some very cool vendors.  Kelly Demaray with Demaray Events was Kristeen and Josh's wedding coordinator and she made sure that EVERYTHING was just perfect that day...thanks Kelly for being so awesome!  The flowers were just as gorgeous as can be thanks to my very lovely friend Kristin from The Treasured Petal.  I've had the opportunity to work with Kristin on numerous occasions and she always does BEAUTIFUL work!  Lastly, the cakes were oh-so-fab thanks to the Vanilla Bake Shop!

Kristeen and Josh...I can't thank you enough for always being so kind to me.  You two are just perfect for one another and I wish you tons of happiness for many many years to come!  Have fun in Mexico!  Can't wait to hear all about it!
