Welcome to my blog! My name is Trista Lerit and I am a wedding photographer based in Orange County, California. Beautiful, Modern, and Edgy Wedding Photography is what I specialize in but every now and then, I love capturing little rascals a.k.a. kids!

This blog is where I'll post pictures from weddings, engagements, and little rascal sessions that I've shot recently. However, I won't limit my posts to photography related things only! This blog also doubles as my online diary where I'll discuss my love of food, share my favorite YouTube videos, post adorable pictures of my dogs (yes, I'm one of THOSE people), and talk about anything else I feel like!

Wow..I've been so busy with shooting weddings that I didn't even realize it's been quite a while since my last engagement shoot!  You can imagine how excited I was to be shooting Vivian and Ben's engagement shoot after being in wedding land for a couple of months.  Vivian and Ben were nervous at first (as most couples are) but you couldn't tell by looking at them!  Vivian has such a beautiful smile and laughs all the time making my job as a photographer so much easier.  Of course Ben always had a smile on his face because who wouldn't when you have a beautiful lady in your arms :-)

At the end of the session, both Vivian and Ben had agreed that the engagement shoot was "great" practice for the big day :-) I can't wait for their wedding in November!  I know it will be awesome considering how much fun we had at the shoot :-)

Gorgeous light!  This shot almost didn't happen until I turned around and saw the beautiful light and knew I had to snap the last pic of the day here :-)

This past weekend I took a trip up to Santa Barbara for a very special occasion!  My very good friend Angel's mom Grace was getting married!  I was so honored to be capturing such a special occasion...Grace and Raj were celebrating their love for each other with their closest family and friends at the gorgeous Bacara Resort and Spa. It was truly breathtaking and I MUST go back their one of these days for some rest and relaxation!

I knew this was going to be a very special event..after all, Angel was coordinating the entire thing so I knew it would be nothing less than fabulous! All the details from the dress, to the shoes, birdcage veil, etc etc...it was ALL gorgeous!  

The icing on the cake though was the luscious details at the reception...I was in Heaven! You will see what I mean when you see the images...just beautiful!

I can't thank Angel, Grace, and Raj enough for allowing me to be part of such a beautiful occasion!  Grace and Raj...I wish you nothing less than the very best that life has to offer!  Congrat's!

Now on to the good stuff!

Grace looked just gorgeous thanks to Hilary Park.  Angel and her sister Anna's make up looked flawless as well thanks to Sherry Younge!

The flowers were beyond spectacular.  Camilla did such an amazing job!

Julie from Elysium Productions was there to shoot Grace and Raj's wedding.  We HAD to take a picture together... after all, Julie shot both of our weddings!

Cherie and Steve got married last weekend in a special ceremony officiated by the person that introduced the two of them!  I thought that was so special!  I'm actually quite proud of myself because I got to play an integral role in their ceremony.  While we were doing their portraits prior to their ceremony, Cherie and Steve wanted a picture of him scooping her off her feet.  I came up with the idea for them to do that as they walked down the aisle as hubby and wife and they thought it was a great idea!  I didn't know if they would remember to do it but sure enough...they did!  I loved it, they loved it, and so did everyone else!

Cherie and Steve..thanks so much for being so fun and making me laugh!  Have fun on your honeymoon and CONGRATS!!!
