Welcome to my blog! My name is Trista Lerit and I am a wedding photographer based in Orange County, California. Beautiful, Modern, and Edgy Wedding Photography is what I specialize in but every now and then, I love capturing little rascals a.k.a. kids!

This blog is where I'll post pictures from weddings, engagements, and little rascal sessions that I've shot recently. However, I won't limit my posts to photography related things only! This blog also doubles as my online diary where I'll discuss my love of food, share my favorite YouTube videos, post adorable pictures of my dogs (yes, I'm one of THOSE people), and talk about anything else I feel like!

I knew the minute I showed up to Theresa & Ken's wedding that it was going to be special..her dress, shoes, invitations, color scheme, venue, I could go on and on..I loved everything about it!  It was stylish, chic, modern, edgy..all the things that make my heart go pitter patter.  So when I found out that the Knot had accepted their wedding for publication, I was SO honored and thrilled!!  Theresa and Ken, along with their fabulous coordinator Kelley from Picture Perfect Events, did a phenomenal job in making their wedding unique and all about them!

Theresa and Ken..thanks so much for having me play a small part in your BIG day..you guys rock and so did your wedding!

You might not recognize this little rascal since the last time I shot her she was just a wee little one.  She is my niece Sydney and I was lucky enough to snag a few shots of her when she came to visit California for our anniversary party last week!  It was so nice having a little one in the house to wake up to every morning..such a sweet little girl she is!  It's too bad she lives all the way in Georgia..otherwise Doug and I would borrow her all the time!

As you all know, Doug and I celebrated our 5 Year Wedding anniversary this weekend..the party was beyond what I ever imagined but it didn't come without a few MAJOR hiccups..like some from straight out of a movie.  In the end though, Doug and I have beautiful memories of the day and I can't wait to share the images/stories with you.  Hopefully I'll get to do a blog post some time next week so stay tuned!  In the mean time, I thought I'd share some pictures from our photoshoot in Paris!

Initially I was going to do one big blog post with all the pictures I took in Europe and the pictures from our photo shoot In Paris but I'm embarrassed to say I haven't even downloaded the pictures I took in Europe yet!  It literally has been that crazy ever since I've gotten back with all the shoots/party planning etc. but now that the dust has settled, I plan on downloading them..next week..lol!

However, my wonderful friend Ross, who took these amazing pictures of us, sent me some of the photos last week so I could share them with all of you!  Let me tell you..we were so lucky to have Ross shoot our photos.  He doesn't even live in Paris..he lives in Moldova and just happened to be visiting London that week and was able to take the train to Paris to do the shoot for us.  Of course Doug being the "dude" that he is, didn't want to do any kind of photoshoot but I insisted that because we were in Paris, it was a must!  After all was said and done..Doug agreed in the end that he was so happy to have these beautiful pictures of us and so am I!  Thank you Ross from the bottom of our hearts for capturing these beautiful photos of us that we will cherish for a lifetime!

Going to Paris without taking a picture in front of my beloved Louis Vuitton is like going to Paris and not getting a picture of the Eiffel Tower..

I love this picture but do wish I got a tan before I went to Europe..lol..Doug swears my legs are the whitest he's ever seen..

Then we changed into something a little dressier..something more "Paris-y"

The architecture in Paris is beautiful..I loved it!
