Welcome to my blog! My name is Trista Lerit and I am a wedding photographer based in Orange County, California. Beautiful, Modern, and Edgy Wedding Photography is what I specialize in but every now and then, I love capturing little rascals a.k.a. kids!

This blog is where I'll post pictures from weddings, engagements, and little rascal sessions that I've shot recently. However, I won't limit my posts to photography related things only! This blog also doubles as my online diary where I'll discuss my love of food, share my favorite YouTube videos, post adorable pictures of my dogs (yes, I'm one of THOSE people), and talk about anything else I feel like!

Last week I flew up to San Francisco to not only shoot Stephanie & Terence's engagement session but meet them as well! Stephanie booked me through email so I was really excited to finally get the chance to meet them both.  They are adorable together and Terence is a riot!  Stephanie was a little nervous at the beginning of the shoot although I have no idea why she even was..the camera obviously loves her..as does Terence :-)

It was a gorgeous, sunny, windy day in San Francisco but we made it work!  Here are some of my favorites..have an amazing weekend everyone!

Happy Mother's Day everyone!  What better way to celebrate Mother's day than with a maternity session!?  Mac and Kelly are good friends of ours and will be expecting their first child/children this July..twin girls!  They are the first people I've ever known personally to be expecting twins so I was so excited when Kelly emailed to tell me about it..so crazy!

When Kelly asked me to shoot her maternity pictures, I immediately had an idea of a specific image I wanted to take.  I wasn't sure if Kelly would be open to the idea but she was totally down for it!  I have to say that most of my "all time" favorite images are of weddings.  However, I have to add the image below to my list of all time favs..how amazing does Kelly look??!!  I hope I look as good as this when I have a child one day..Kelly..you are H-O-T!

The light that day was sooo beautiful!  Mac was behind me when I took this and he said "wow honey, you look like a model!" Take note all you husbands out there..Mac is a sweet (and smart) husband :-)

So, I'm utterly embarrassed that I've neglected my blog for this long!  But I have a good excuse..Doug and I went to Europe for two weeks!  That deserves it's own blog post so I'll save all the details for a special "Europe" post soon. But first I need to blog all the sessions I've been shooting since I've been back!

I had an awesome time with Alyssa & Eric in San Diego for their engagement shoot!  They are getting married in just a couple months and I'm so excited to shoot their wedding!  Here are some of my favorites!
