Well I'm back from WPPI and finally have a chance to settle in and get some work done! The convention was awesome and so glad I finally went this year! While I don't have any pics from WPPI to share (what can I say..I forgot my camera at home!), I have some lovely pictures from Caroline and Paul's wedding which I shot the day before I left for Vegas!
They got married at the Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage and it was just gorgeous! It was my first time visiting the area and I really loved it! The scenery is just breathtaking with all the beautiful mountains, palm trees, etc. I might add that it was VERY windy that day..everyone was quite nervous about how windy it would get during the ceremony but thankfully, it was calm and breezy long enough for the ceremony and then it picked right back up again ;-)
Aside from the wind, the day couldn't have gone smoother thanks to the lovely and talented Michelle Tortuya with Charming Events! Although I've known Michelle on a personal level for over a year now, this was my first time working with her on a wedding and I am thoroughly impressed! Michelle and her assistant Kym March did such an amazing job with the planning of the day from the extremely detailed timeline to the execution of the days events. This is one of the VERY few weddings I've shot where the ceremony actually started on TIME!!! I still can't believe it :-) Most ceremonies start on average 15-20 minutes late! So future brides and grooms...if you want your wedding day to go as smoothly as possible, please build extra time into the schedule..and hire a coordinator that will make sure things start on time!
As you'll see in the pictures, Caroline and Paul really spent the time making their wedding special and unique to them. The beautiful colors of brown and blue complimented each other so well...and I loved their little "tree motif" that was carried out through out the decor. I had an amazing time with Caroline and Paul on their wedding day and am so happy for them! It was so sweet to see the way Paul just goes out of his way to make Caroline smile and laugh...something that will definitely help them out through their marriage for sure! Caroline and Paul...I hope you spend the next 100 years smiling and laughing together :-)
Caroline and Paul decided to see each other before the ceremony so they could have as much time as possible to take pictures and not stress about any time constraints...love that!
Beautiful programs for the ceremony..
Awwwww..look at Paul! He started crying before anybody even started walking down the aisle! How cute is he???
Love this picture...always one of my favorite moments in a wedding!
Love their Polaroid Guestbook!
